Oracle Java and RIA applications

In January 2014 Oracle, with the release of the version 7u51 of Java, change its security policy rearging Rich Internet Applications (RIA), also known as applet or web start application.

Java now requires all these applications to be signed by a recognized certification authority. If it is not the case, the application is simply blocked by Java.
