The new logo won't be "Powered by VeriSign" anymore but "Powered by Symantec".

What do I need to do to get the new logo?

Nothing. The transition is automated.

I did not install my trust seal. Where do I get it?

You can go on Symantec website in order to download and install your trust seal?

Why installing a trust seal?

Displaying a trust seal on you website pages indicates webusers that it has been verified and is secured by a trusted third part. it helps boosting your trustworthiness and supports your e-business activity.

The seal, provided for free along with Symantec SSL certificates, has interesting options as well:

  • Seal in Search: the seal appears next to your website in the web browsers results (your site then appears differently than your competitors' and is pointed out among numerous results)

  • Daily anti-malware scan: each day a robot analyzes your web site to make sure it has not been infected by malware (having a heads-up can prevent your website to be blacklisted by Google and other browsers)
