20230829 - Sectigo stops selling its email certificates
Sectigo announced this week the disappearance of its Basic Personal Email and Organization Personal Email certificates.
The TBS X509 Email Novice certificate is concerned too.
These have therefore been removed from our product range.
Why?
This decision is likely related to the very forthcoming entry into force of the Baseline Requirements for S/MIME certificates scheduled for September 1st, 2023.
Do you have a request in progress?
Your request will then be canceled and refunded. For this type of need, you will have to refer to the client products of the DigiCert range.
What will happen to valid products?
These products will continue to function normally until their expiration date.
During the renewal process, you will be directed to an equivalent product.
Note: If you still have available tokens for these kind of products, an exchange will have to be done on a case-by-case basis.
