Install a certificate on a Fastream platform: IQ Web/FTP Server and IQ Proxy Server

You received your certificate by email with one or several intermediate certificates and a root certificate. Keep this email within reach.

1- Retrieve your certificate(s) on your server

In the delivery email you'll find several links. Click on them and download the associated files:

• A: your server certificate
• B: the certification chain

2- Install the certification chain

Step 1: Open the file B (certification chain) and copy its content.
Step 2: Open the file A (your certificate) and paste the content of the file B behind the content of the file A.
Step 3: Save the file A with a .pem extention.

3- Install your certificate

Open the set-up menu of your software

1- IQ Web/FTP Server

For HTTP protocol:

• Select the "HTTP - Default" tab.
• Then select the "SSL/TLS Encryption" tab.
• Once in this tab, import your certificate in the "Certificat File" field.
• Save your new configuration and restart your software. Your certificate is now properly installed.

For FTP protocol:

• Select the "FTP - Default" tab.
• Then select the "SSL/TLS Encryption" tab.
• Once in this tab, import your certificate in the "Certificat File" field.
• Save your new configuration and restart your software. Your certificate is now properly installed.

2- IQ Proxy Server

Example with RProxy:

• Select the "RProxy: Default" tab.
• Then select the "SSL/TLS Encryption" tab.
• Once in this tab, import your certificate in the "Certificat File" field.
• Save your new configuration and restart your software. Your certificate is now properly installed.

4- Check your certificate installation

To make sure your certificate has properly been installed, use our tool Co-PiBot.
If you encounter issues:

1. Follow the previous procedure all over again.
2. Contact our technical support team
