Generate a CSR for Bluecoat
This documentation applies for BlueCoat SGOS 4.1- Generate a pair of keys
Connect to the Management Console
- Select Configuration > SSL > Keyrings > SSL Keyrings
- Click Create; the dialog box appears.
- If you plan to export the private key, tick the Show-private-key box
- Select "Create a new" and choose a key length (2048 at least).
- Name your pair of keys
- Finish with OK
2- Generate the certificate request
- Select Configuration > SSL > SSL Keyrings > SSL Certificates
- Among the list of pairs of keys, select the one you just created.
- Go to the tab "Certificate Signing Request", and click "Create"
- Fill in the form such as explained on the page Obtain a server certificate. Let the fields "E-mail Address" and "Company" blank, and put 0000 into "Challenge".
- The tab "Create" displays "Creating..."
- Click OK
3- Follow the order process
- Use the appropriate link to place your order on our website. See Access an order form
- Copy/Paste the CSR (including the lines begin and end).
