E-mail Signature / Encryption
In this section, we deal with the use of a certificate previously obtained via a web browser. Depending on the web browser and the chosen email software, an export/import in PKCS12 format will be necessary. This chart indicates which browser to use when requesting a user certificate for a determined email software.
- Native : indicates that there is no transfer manipulation to be done between the browser and the mailbox (so very simple)
- P12 : indicates that an export/import in PKCS 12 format must be used for the transfer (therefore less simple)
- N/A indicates that the transfer is not normally applicable (not the same OS), but it is still possible possible by moving the file!
