Use an Adobe Air certificate
Once your Adobe Air certificate is obtained via Firefox, and after its exportation in a PKCS12 (.p12) file, Install your Adobe Air certificate
- Open AIR and go to the installation preferences
- Click on the Define button under installation settings (near digital signatures)
- In the dialog box, select your .p12 file
- Enter your .p12 password
- Click OK
The application has now a digital signature.

Other use
This kind of certificate can also be used to sign Javascript code. To do so, the code has to be integrated to a .jar and has to be downloaded with the application/java-archive mime type.
